What Mohit Digitals collects, why, how long it is kept, and what happens to your photographs.
Who we are
Mohit Digitals is a photography studio at Civil Lines, near BSA Office, GIC Road, Prem Nagar, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh 261001. For anything in this policy, including a request to remove your photographs, write to contact@mohitdigitals.com or call +91 87567 21911.
What the enquiry form collects, and why
The enquiry form on this site asks for your name, a phone or WhatsApp number, the date and town of your shoot, what kind of shoot it is, and anything else you choose to tell us. We ask for those five things because they are the minimum needed to answer the question the form exists to answer: whether your date is free and what the shoot would involve.
That information is used to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to run the shoot. It is not sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing. We do not send marketing messages to a number that only ever made an enquiry.
The form does not send any of it to this website. It hands the message to WhatsApp on your own device and you decide whether to send it, which is set out under who else sees your information.
Your photographs
This section matters more than any other on the page, because a photography studio holds pictures of your wedding, your children and your family.
Your photographs belong to your shoot. The studio keeps the copyright in the images it makes, which is how photography normally works, but publishing them is a separate question from owning them, and it is one you control.
Where we may publish them
With your consent, a selection may appear in the studio portfolio, on this website, on Instagram and Facebook, on the Google Business Profile, and in printed samples shown to other clients.
We ask you at the time of booking, and we ask out loud. It is a conversation rather than a form, so if you would like your answer in writing, send it to us on WhatsApp or by email and we will keep it with your booking. Either way the answer is yours to give: consent is asked for, never assumed from the fact that you booked a shoot.
Where we will not publish them
Photographs from inside a bridal room or a getting-ready session, and photographs of children, are not published on the strength of a general yes given at booking. We come back and ask again about those specific images before any of them is used anywhere. We do not sell photographs to stock libraries or to third parties, and we do not licence them for advertising by anyone other than the studio.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time, for all your photographs or for particular ones, by writing to contact@mohitdigitals.com. We will remove them from this website, from the studio's social media accounts and from printed samples still in use. We cannot pull back copies that other people have already downloaded or reshared, and material already printed and delivered to other clients stays with them, but nothing further will be published.
How long things are kept
Enquiries
An enquiry that does not become a booking is deleted as soon as it is clear it is not going ahead: when you tell us so, when the date you asked about has passed, or when a conversation has gone quiet and stayed quiet. We do not hold on to it for a fixed period after that in case you come back.
Photographs
A delivered shoot stays in the studio archive for 90 days after delivery, so that a lost file or a reprint can be dealt with. After 90 days it may be deleted without further notice. If you want your photographs kept longer than that, ask us at the time of delivery and keep your own copy either way: the archive is a short safety net, not permanent storage.
You can ask for your enquiry details or your photographs to be deleted sooner and we will do it, unless we are required to keep a record for tax or accounting. Photographs from a wedding or a family session are held under the same terms as any other shoot.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not profile you, and nothing here follows you around other websites.
One third party receives a request when you load any page: jsDelivr, which serves the animation library. It sees your IP address as part of sending the file, the same way any server does. It does not identify you and it does not set a cookie. The typefaces used to come from Google Fonts and no longer do: they are served from this domain, so reading this site does not require your browser to contact Google.
The contact page is the one exception. It embeds a Google map showing where the studio is, and Google sets cookies through that map and may use them to recognise a signed-in Google account. That happens on the contact page and nowhere else on this site, and it is Google's processing rather than ours: we receive nothing from it and cannot see who looked at the map. The map is marked to load late, but a browser may still fetch it as the page opens rather than waiting for you to scroll to it, so treat opening the contact page as loading the map. Every other page is unaffected, and the address and the plain Google Maps link on that page do the same job without it.
If analytics are added later, this section will say so before they go live, and consent will be asked for where the law requires it.
Who else sees your information
The enquiry form sends your message over WhatsApp. Nothing you type is submitted to this website. The form assembles what you entered into a WhatsApp message, opens WhatsApp on your own device with that message ready, and you choose whether to send it. From that point it is a WhatsApp conversation between you and the studio, carried by WhatsApp and subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, the studio's phone number and email address are on the contact page and reach the same people.
Otherwise: the hosting provider that serves this website handles your request in the course of serving the page, and your email provider and ours handle any email you send. Nobody else does. We do not use your details for advertising and we do not build audiences from them.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to contact@mohitdigitals.com and we will answer. If a request concerns photographs, say which shoot and roughly which images, and we will confirm what has been removed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Where a change affects how photographs are published, existing clients will be told rather than left to notice.
